DRIPPING SPRINGS WARD SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 27, 2026 · ALL TIMES CENTRAL |
THE BISHOPRIC RETURNS THE FUGITIVEHIGHPOINTE EDITION A blockbuster chase. A very ordinary parent pickup. |
 |
THIS WEEK’S FEATURE The chase is on.In the movies, a fugitive needs a disguise, a train, and a dramatic soundtrack. In Highpointe, the youth get a Tuesday night and a parent texting, “I’m here.” The bishopric is back on the marquee, all the youth are playing Fugitive together, and Sunday’s schedule is conveniently available without a nationwide search. |
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 27 · 10:30AM Sacrament meetingAfter sacrament meeting: Adults and youth attend Sunday School for 25 minutes, followed by 25 minutes in Relief Society, Young Women, or their priesthood quorum. Primary meets throughout the second hour. Music: Dustin Fuller and Erika Johnston |
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 29 · 7:00PM Fugitive. All youth. Highpointe. All Young Men and Young Women are combined this week for Fugitive. Meet at the Highpointe Amenities Center at 7:00pm. Check with your youth leaders about pickup arrangements and any items to bring. |
MINISTERING Make room for one more.If you’re staying for choir, invite someone to walk over with you. If you’re heading home, look for someone you can say a real hello to first. A little unhurried attention can make a busy Sunday feel a lot less lonely. |
WARD CHOIR · THIS SUNDAY Stay for the soundtrack.Practice right after church in the Relief Society room. Choir is back. Come sing with people who can actually hear you, unlike your usual audience on the other side of the windshield. |
NEXT WEEKEND · OCTOBER 3–4 General conferenceSaturday and Sunday: 11:00am and 3:00pm Central. Set aside time to hear messages from Church leaders. General conference replaces regular Sunday ward meetings next weekend. |
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 29 · 6:00PM Chili Cook Off & Trail of TreatsHighpointe Amenity Center Bring your appetite. The chili has competition, and the candy has a new route. For the Trail of Treats, parents will set up seats around the perimeter of the park for children to trick-or-treat, instead of going trunk-to-trunk in the parking lot. The park setup keeps the fun away from the dark circle road and gives everyone more time to visit. |
