When the road gets bumpy, the cereal gets sugary, and the Lord still knows the way home
If the Munro family taught us anything in RV, it’s that putting everyone in one vehicle does not guarantee harmony, dignity, or functioning plumbing. Fortunately, discipleship comes with better navigation: prayer, prophets, scriptures, covenants, and ward members willing to help when someone gets stranded at a spiritual rest stop. Buckle up! This week’s route includes a homecoming talk, a late-night cereal bar, and some “great work” with Ezra and Nehemiah!

Young Women
Combined YW activity — Wednesday, July 29
-
Time: 8:00–11:00 p.m.
-
Location: The Orsaks’ home
-
Activity: Late-night read-a-thon

This activity replaces the usual 7:00 p.m. youth schedule for the Young Women this week.
Heads up: Youth night switches to Tuesday starting in August.
While we're on it — help us out.
We're building a roster of ward members who can share a skill, host a night, or lend a hand with youth activities. If you've got something you can teach, do, host, or supervise, take 60 seconds and let us know.

📖 Come, Follow Me:
July 27–August 2: “I Am Doing a Great Work”
|
|
|
|
Reading: Ezra 1; 3–7; Nehemiah 2; 4–6; 8
Ezra and Nehemiah knew something about difficult road trips: returning home, rebuilding what had been destroyed, and continuing when opposition tried to reroute them. Through it all, the Lord strengthened their hands and helped them accomplish His work.
This week, consider:
-
What “great work” has the Lord given me?
-
What helps me stay focused when distractions or discouragement appear?
-
How have I seen the good hand of God guiding my efforts?
When life’s GPS says recalculating, remember: the Lord has not forgotten the destination.

🐑 Ministering Mileage Check
Before pulling out of the campground, check your spiritual mirrors. Is someone in your ministering circle feeling overlooked, overwhelmed, or stranded?
A text, visit, prayer, invitation, or bowl of cereal could be exactly the roadside assistance they need. We don’t have to solve every problem—we just need to make sure nobody travels alone.
