Picture Caleb walking into the tank with a giant cluster of grapes over his shoulder. "Sharks, I'm here seeking zero dollars for one hundred percent of the Promised Land. Land flowing with milk and honey. Real estate already approved by the Lord Himself. The deal is done. We just have to walk in."
Mark Cuban leans forward. "What's the catch?"
Caleb says, "There are giants."
The other ten spies start frantically whispering from the back. "They're huge." "We looked like grasshoppers." "The cities are walled. Walled, Mark."
Mr. Wonderful adjusts his glasses. "For those reasons… I'm out."
One by one, the rest tap. Robert Herjavec: "I love you, but I can't do it. I'm out." Lori Greiner: "It's a beautiful land, but I don't see the path. I'm out." Daymond: "Without me. I'm out." Even Cuban folds.
The Israelites believed the sharks. Forty years of wandering later, only two from that whole crowd walked into the deal. Caleb and Joshua. The only two who looked at the same giants, the same walls, the same impossible offer, and said, "We are well able. The Lord is in."
Something's pitching you something hard this week. A calling. A kid. A Monday. The sharks in your head will say I'm out.
Be Caleb. Stay in the deal.
