Dripping Springs Ward Newsletter

Some weeks feel like everything is under control.

And some weeks feel a little more… Michael Scott running a meeting with no agenda.

This week, we lean into both.

Between the Red Sea moments in Come, Follow Me and a classic fast & testimony meeting, we’re reminded that even when life feels chaotic, God is still very much in charge.

So take a deep breath, stand still… and let Him work.

Church Program

Fast & Testimony Meeting

  • Opening Hymn: #89 The Lord Is My Light

  • Sacrament Hymn: #86 How Great Thou Art

  • Closing Hymn: #137 Testimony

No assigned speakers… just an open mic and the Spirit.

(Michael Scott voice)

“I’m not superstitious… but I am a little testimony-stitious.”

📖 Come, Follow Me (April 13–19)

“Stand Still, and See the Salvation of the Lord”

 (Exodus 14–18)

So the Israelites are trapped, Red Sea in front of them, Egyptians behind them, and everyone’s kind of panicking.

And instead of giving them some big plan, the message is basically:

“Just hold on.”

Which is tough, because your instinct is to do something… anything.

But this week is a good reminder that sometimes the best thing we can do is take a breath and trust that God’s already working on it.
