Princess Bride

Dripping Springs Ward Newsletter

Dripping Springs Ward family,

This week we enter a tale of faith, courage, miracles, giants, chases, daring rescues… and true love. Which honestly sounds a lot like raising kids, serving in a ward, and trying to make it to church on time. The Princess Bride reminds us that the best stories are about loyalty, covenant promises, and choosing love over fear. And this week in Genesis, we see exactly that.

Let’s begin. 👑

Church Program

Fast & Testimony Meeting

Opening Hymn: 67. Glory to God on High

Sacrament Hymn: 146. Gently Raise the Sacred Strain

Closing Hymn: 156. Sing We Now at Parting

Come prepared to bear testimony. Short. Sincere. Spirit-led.

As Miracle Max might say, your testimony is only mostly nervous.

Inigo had a mission.

You have one too.

Come Follow Me

March 2–8: “Let God Prevail” Genesis 24–33

Jacob wrestles.

He struggles.

He changes.

And he receives a new name: Israel — “Let God prevail.”

Sometimes faith feels less like floating through the countryside and more like wrestling in the dark until morning.

This week ask:

Where do I need to stop striving alone and let God prevail?
