🔥 Signature Challenge: Come, Follow Me (Nov 10–16)

Doctrine & Covenants 129–132 – “I Have Seen Your Sacrifices in Obedience”

In Heaven’s Kitchen, the Lord is the Head Chef, and you’re on the line.

This week’s assignment?  Obedience: no substitutions, no shortcuts, no skipping the prep.

Every covenant, every commandment, every quiet act of sacrifice is an ingredient in the eternal recipe.

Stick to it, and your faith will rise like a perfectly timed crust.

“Faith without obedience is like pie without filling, flat, hollow, and disappointing.”

🧑‍🍳 Technical Challenge: Youth Activities — Wed @ 7 PM

“Contestants will now complete side-quests to prove their teamwork and creativity…”
  • Priests: TBD — rumor says the secret ingredient is adrenaline.

  • Teachers & Deacons: Laser Tag + Swimming @ Kurt Williams’ Home â€” combine precision, chaos, and splash-proof scriptures.

  • Young Women (Combined): Fashion Show @ Stake Center —

Please bring a treat to share! Young Women can wear two outfits from two of their favorite decades or use the following as a guide: Younger W 20s/80s, Older YW 50s/70s. Family members can wear clothing from one decade of their choice.

đź’ž Ministering – “The Secret Ingredient”

In every great bake, there’s one ingredient that makes all the difference: love. Ministering is that secret ingredient in Heaven’s Kitchen: simple, consistent, and quietly powerful. It’s checking in, sharing warmth, and offering a slice of kindness when someone needs it most. The Lord isn’t looking for perfect crusts, just hearts that serve and lift others with genuine care.

✨ Final Thought — When the Oven Door Closes

When you follow the Savior’s recipe, you’ll spend time waiting in the dark, heat rising all around, wondering if you did everything right. That’s when obedience matters most, when no one else can see your bake, but Heaven can smell it.

Obedience isn’t blind submission; it’s trust in the Master Chef who knows how the story ends. Every act of quiet sacrifice, a prayer whispered when you’re tired, a visit made when it’s inconvenient, a commandment kept when it’s hard, layers your life with flavor that only eternity can reveal.

So keep showing up in His kitchen. Stir. Knead. Wait. Believe.
