📖 Come, Follow Me: October 27–November 2
Doctrine & Covenants 124: “A House unto My Name.”
In Chariots of Fire, Eric Liddell chose faith over fame when he refused to run on the Sabbath. His conviction reminds us that holiness often requires sacrifice.
This week, the Saints were commanded to build a temple in Nauvoo, a literal house unto His name. The Lord’s instructions were precise, and the effort demanded everything they had. In our own lives, the Lord still asks us to build. He may not hand us blueprints for stone and timber, but He gives us promptings and people who need our love.
Whatever you are building, whether it is your home, your faith, or your family, He will fill it with His Spirit when it is dedicated to Him.
🏁 Run your spiritual race with purpose and let your finish line be wherever He stands waiting.

🙌 Ministering Reminder
The gospel is not a sprint. It is a lifelong marathon of love and discipleship.
Check in on someone this week. Offer a kind word, a quick visit, or a prayer on their behalf. Everyone is running their own race, but no one should have to run it alone. |

💬 Final Thought
In Chariots of Fire, Eric Liddell said, “When I run, I feel His pleasure.” He ran not for medals or recognition, but because his gift was a way to honor God.
Life’s race is not always smooth. Some miles feel uphill. Some stretches feel endless. Yet when we choose to run with purpose, to love, to forgive, to serve, and to keep our covenants, we find that same divine pleasure Eric described.
Every day brings a new lap in your spiritual race. There will be times you feel tired, moments you want to stop, and times when the finish line feels far away. That is when faith takes over. The Savior has already run this race perfectly. He waits at the finish line, but He also runs beside you every step of the way.
Heaven does not cheer for who finishes first, but for who keeps running. So lace up your faith this week. Lift someone who has stumbled. Stay in your spiritual lane and keep your eyes on the finish line that leads back to Him.
