  • Sacrament Hymn: 182. We’ll Sing All Hail to Jesus’ Name

📖 Come, Follow Me: Sept 29–Oct 5

Doctrine & Covenants 109–110: “It Is Thy House, a Place of Thy Holiness”

The temple dedication in D&C 109 isn’t just a historical footnote. It’s the moment the Spirit drops into the frame like the first time Boo sees Sulley smile. Awe. Power. Belonging.

And in D&C 110, Christ appears. Not symbolically. Literally. In His house. No magic door or balloon house needed. Just a sacred space built by faith.

This week, let that moment shape your own story arc.

Where are you building holiness into your week?

Are you making room for revelation?

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Youth Activities – Wednesday at 7 PM

This week’s youth lineup is pure Pixar energy. Diverse. Creative. Possibly involving welding goggles.

  • YW 16–18 are hiking their way through real-life adventure. Not all growth happens in a classroom.

  • YW 12–15 are turning pumpkins into masterpieces with a hot cocoa bar twist.

  • Priests are gathering for pizza and planning at Bishop’s house.

  • Teachers & Deacons are learning to weld with Bro. Skinner. Because sometimes you have to build something that lasts.

Wherever you are, show up. This is your character development moment.

🤝 Ministering Reminder

You don’t need a talking fish or a programmed robot to remind someone they’re loved. You’ve got a phone. You’ve got a heart. You’ve got the Spirit.

So this week, whether someone’s feeling like Joy, Sadness, or even Disgust, check in anyway.

Be the person who shows up in someone else’s sequel.

🧸 Missionary Section – “You’ve Got a Friend in Them”

The missionaries are out there every day, trusting the Spirit like Remy trusts his sense of smell. It’s instinctive. It’s inspired. And sometimes it takes a village.

🍝 Feed them

👟 Go out with them

📱 Text them a “You’re awesome” when you think of it

They’re not toys. They’re tools in the Lord’s hands.

🍽 Feed the Missionaries

🌟 Final Thought: You Are Not a Side Character in the Plan of Salvation

Think of your life as the next great Pixar film. It’s got laughs. It’s got detours. It’s got tear-jerking moments and wild action sequences. It’s got characters that leave, moments that stretch you, and choices that define you.

But here’s the plot twist:

You’re not the background character.

You’re not the comic relief.

You are central to the story God is writing.

In Monsters, Inc., Sulley learns that laughter is more powerful than fear. In Toy Story, Woody learns that being loved, even when you feel replaced, is enough. In Inside Out, we find out that joy and sorrow aren’t enemies. They’re companions.

And in the gospel, we learn something even deeper.

Christ doesn’t just redeem your story. He’s in it with you.

He walks beside you in your low points. He celebrates the highs. He sees the whole movie and still chooses you every single time.

So if this week feels like a slow scene, or a montage of chaos, or a setback you didn’t see coming, remember this:

🎞️ The Atonement covers the entire script.

🎥 Grace rolls through every frame.

🎬 And the ending is already written, with hope, healing, and heaven.

Because in this cinematic universe, it’s not just about becoming the hero.

It’s about walking with Him, the One who already is.
