🌊 Come, Follow Me: Doctrine & Covenants 102–105

“Just keep swimming… even when you don’t know why you’re in the water.”

Zion’s Camp looked like a failure. No battle. No Zion. No big miracle moment. But underneath all that walking and whining, the Lord was preparing future apostles and church leaders.

Sound familiar? Ever feel like your prayers lead you in circles instead of forward? Just keep walking. Just keep swimming. Just keep trusting.

Think about it:

  • Has God ever rerouted your plans?

  • Do you trust that peace comes after the paddling?

🐙 Just Keep Ministering

Ministering is a two-way street. Like Dory and Marlin navigating the drop-off.

Don’t just check in with the people you’re assigned to. Reach out to those assigned to you too. You never know who’s treading water this week.

🧼 Special Announcement: Primary Service Project

Our Primary is leading a project to assemble 75 Hygiene Kits for foster children and families supported by Foster Village, Dripping Springs.

🗓️ Donations due by Sept. 21 (Next Sunday)

Two ways to help:

  1. Sign up on Google Form and drop items in the chapel bin

Let’s blow past that 75-kit goal. Because clean kids = happy hearts.

 Final Thought

Sometimes God gives you an address. Instead of swimming straight to it, He sends you through jellyfish, sharks, a surfer turtle commune, and a dentist’s office in Sydney.

It feels like you’re lost. It feels like He forgot.

But later you realize you weren’t wandering. You were becoming.

So yeah. Zion’s Camp looked like a joke. But the punchline was glory.

And if your life feels like a weird Pixar side quest right now

just keep swimming. He’s still directing the current.
