📖 Come, Follow Me
September 8–14: “Be Still and Know That I Am God”
Doctrine and Covenants 98–101
Nacho once said, “It’s for fun!” but this week’s chapters remind us that peace and stillness are more than just fun. They are essential. The Lord commands us to be still, even when life feels like a wrestling match with no clear winner.
👉 Questions to Ponder:
-
Where in my week can I carve out some sacred “stillness”?
-
How do I balance patience with action?
-
Am I trusting the Lord’s timing, or trying to body-slam my way to answers?

This week: Day of Service (ALL Youth)
🗓️ Tuesday instead of Wednesday at 7 PM
📍 Parker Lane Building – 2111 Parker Ln, Austin, TX 78741
Nacho believed in “serving the orphans.” This is your chance to step into the ring for someone else. Come ready to serve with the same energy Nacho brought to the lucha ring. |

🤝 Ministering Reminder
Ministering is like a tag-team match. Sometimes you’re the one reaching in for help, sometimes you’re the one pulling someone else up onto the ropes. Don’t wait for your ministers to check in. Reach out to them too. Everyone needs backup now and then.
“Precious Father, why have you given me this desire to wrestle and then made me such a stinky warrior?”- Nacho

Our missionaries really need meal signups and splits. Think of it like nachos. Nobody wants plain chips. Add the toppings and make it good. Feed them with food and with your friendship.

Final Thought: Nacho said, “It’s for the Lord.” That’s our reason too |

Final Thought
Nacho wanted to wear his stretchy pants “just for fun.” But really, he wore them because he was preparing for the work he felt called to do.
We also prepare, in small and simple ways, for the work the Lord has for us. Sometimes it feels awkward, sometimes we don’t look as polished as we hoped, but that is not what matters. The Lord just needs us to show up, ready to give what we can.
This week, whether you are helping with hygiene kits, serving at youth night, or just checking in on someone who needs a friend, remember Nacho’s words: “It’s for the Lord!”
