📖 Come, Follow Me (Aug 25–31)

“Receive of His Fulness” – Doctrine and Covenants 93

This week’s chapters remind us that the Savior learned “grace for grace.” Sometimes growth doesn’t come in grand leaps but in small, consistent steps, like the frames of a filmstrip that eventually make the whole picture. As you study, ask:

  • What “grace for grace” moments am I experiencing?

  • Where do I see the Lord turning small daily efforts into lasting change?

  • How can I better receive His fulness while still embracing my own “in-progress” story?

🧬 Family History Hour

🤝 Ministering Reminder

In Walter Mitty’s daydreams, he often needed someone to pull him back or push him forward. Ministering works the same way: it’s a two-way adventure.

  • Reach out to those you minister to.

  • Reach back to those who minister to you.

You never know whose text, knock, or invitation might be exactly what’s needed this week.

🌲 Special Sunday School – Aug 31

The stations are back by popular demand – your pick of:

🎶 Music | 🌳 Nature | 📜 Prophetic Teachings | 📖 Scripture Study

Think of it like a choose-your-own-adventure book, but with the Spirit writing the ending. Which setting will help you hear Him best?

Final Thought

Greetings from Frankfurt, Germany and Bologna, Italy.

We hadn’t traveled much this past year, so stepping back out into the wide world has felt both exhilarating and, honestly, exhausting. The time change hit harder than expected, and keeping our kids from turning into tiny, jet-lagged versions of Walter Mitty has been its own adventure.

But in the middle of the chaos, we’ve leaned on prayer and inspiration. One big example: we felt prompted to change our first destination at the last minute, from Albania to Italy. It wasn’t easy to rework everything, but when we followed the nudge, doors opened.

It reminded me that the Lord isn’t just the God of the familiar, He’s the God of detours, re-routes, and last-minute changes too. He has a way of guiding us, step by step, right where we need to be.
