🎀 Come, Follow Me – August 11–17: β€œEstablish … a House of God” (Doctrine & Covenants 88)

Ringmaster’s Opening Monologue:

β€œLadies and gentlemen, children of all ages… behold the blueprint for the greatest tent of all, a house of God. Chapter 88 reminds us that holiness isn’t just about walls and steeples, but about the spirit that fills them (and us).”

This Week’s Acts:

πŸŽͺ Act One: Build your personal β€œbig top” β€” a life filled with light and learning.

πŸŽͺ Act Two: Invite others inside β€” the gospel is best shared from center ring.

πŸŽͺ Act Three: Keep the show going β€” holiness is a daily performance, not a one-night event.

🀝 Ministering Reminder

Ministering works best when it’s a two-way street. Reach out to those you minister to, but also don’t hesitate to connect with the people assigned to minister to you. You never know who might need a kind word, a listening ear, or a little help this week and sometimes that person is you.

πŸŽͺ Final Thought – β€œEvery Seat is the Best Seat”

One of my favorite things about a circus is that no matter where you sit, the wonder finds you. The gospel works the same way. It doesn’t matter if you feel like you’re front row or in the very back, God sees you, hears you, and is working miracles for you.

Sometimes you are the one in the spotlight, sharing your testimony or serving someone in need. Other times, you are in the crowd, quietly cheering someone else on. Either way, you are part of the greatest show, building His kingdom here and now.

Ministering is a lot like that too. It works best when the performers and the audience interact, when the love flows both ways. Reach out to those you minister to, and let those who minister to you know when you need something. You never know whose quiet encouragement, small act of service, or timely check-in might change the course of your week or theirs.

So this week, step into the ring with courage, lift the people around you, and remember: the real magic isn’t in the tent, the music, or the costumes. It is in the people, and you are one of the best acts we have got.
