📖 Come, Follow Me: D&C 84 – “The Power of Godliness”
Before the race starts, before tires hit the tarmac, every great team pauses for strategy. This week’s revelation is your pre-race huddle. Section 84 is all about the priesthood, ordinances, and the divine power behind your spiritual engine.
If your soul were a car, how’s it running?
Questions for the garage:
-
What does “the power of godliness” actually look like in daily life? (Spoiler: It’s not just quoting scriptures in traffic.)
-
Why do ordinances matter? Are they gas stations or full tune-ups?
-
Who helps you stay on track when life throws a yellow flag?
-
Are you the kind of pit crew someone else can count on?
This week, check your alignment and fuel up.

🏆 Final Thought – Squeaky Brakes and Sacred Speed
Some weeks feel like a smooth ride with the Spirit. Other weeks? You’re running late, your spiritual alignment is off, and you’re praying your testimony doesn’t blow a tire in the middle of sacrament meeting.
But here’s the thing. Heavenly Father doesn’t expect us to be perfect drivers. He just wants us to keep showing up on the track. Show up with your squeaky brakes. Show up with your cracked windshield. Just keep showing up.
The power of godliness is not reserved for the polished, the podium-finishers, or those who never miss a turn. It’s for all of us. The messy, the tired, the trying. Especially the trying.
So this week, take a deep breath before the race. Strap in. Say a prayer. Check on your ministering people. And if all else fails, grab a donut and remember that the Lord knows how to get you across the finish line, even if you’re running on spiritual fumes.
Let’s go full send into a week of faith, fun, and maybe one or two slightly questionable Fear Factor moments.
See you at church. Pit crew snacks not required, but strongly encouraged.
