Soaring Testimonies. Wet Shoes. Potluck Glory.
This week, your challenge should you choose to accept it is to conquer slippery obstacle courses, ponder prophetic visions, and feed your local Sister missionaries before they start roasting marshmallows with the Spirit.

📖 Come, Follow Me – July 14 to 20
Doctrine and Covenants 77 to 80
“I Will Lead You Along”
This week’s revelations come with heavenly symbolism, a good old-fashioned United Firm startup, and the Lord reminding us He’s still in charge of the map, even when we feel like we’re flying blind on a dragon with a mind of its own.
💭 Use these prompts in personal study or at the dinner table (or on your dragon’s back mid-flight):
-
How has the Lord “led you along” in unexpected ways?
-
What does it mean to be “faithful in tribulation”? (77:10 style)
-
Why do you think the Lord often calls imperfect people to do impossible things?
-
If you were starting a United Firm today, who in your family would you put in charge of the money and why isn’t it your toddler?
Bonus: Read 78:18-19 and see if it doesn’t sound like the spiritual version of “You’re not ready, but you’ve got heart, kid.”

📣 Special Announcement – Navigating the Freeway of Berk
🛣️ New Route to Church
🚧 The old turn at Convict Hill is CLOSED.
Your new entrance is about 1000 feet before the original turn and looks suspiciously like a freeway off-ramp.
⚠️ Leaving church:
The Convict Hill exit is right-turn only, so plan your escape route accordingly.
Or just pretend you’re dodging a dragon and drift like a true Viking.

🤝 Ministering Reminder – Act Like a Viking (but More Emotionally Available)
Vikings check on their people. Ministering is basically that.
So this week, swing by a porch. Send a text. Drop off a treat.
Bonus points if you carry it in a wooden shield. |

✨ Final Thought – You’re Not Just a Rider. You’re a Builder.
In How to Train Your Dragon, Hiccup was never meant to be the strongest Viking. But he was the one who saw differently. He built trust with Toothless, took risks others wouldn’t, and changed the future of Berk.
In our own lives, we may not feel like the boldest, smartest, or most qualified. But with faith, we can still build something amazing. We can build bridges. We can build people. We can build testimony. The Lord is not looking for perfect riders, He’s looking for willing ones.
When you feel uncertain this week, remember: even Hiccup fell off a dragon a few times. But he kept getting back on. So saddle up, trust the Spirit, and fly forward.
