📖 Come, Follow Me
Doctrine and Covenants 71–75
“No Weapon That Is Formed against You Shall Prosper”
The Lord promises protection to the faithful. Sometimes it’s a shield, sometimes it’s a spiritual machete cutting through the vines of confusion. This week, let’s be the kind of survivors who build each other up, seek revelation boldly, and don’t give up the fire tokens of faith when things get hot. (And yes, they are VERY hot.)

Question to guide your journey:
“Where can I best hear Him?”
Heads up: If you plan to attend the Nature Station, feel free to bring your own camping chair for comfort. It’s not required, but it might make the shade and Spirit even more enjoyable.

🪵 Final Word: Fire Is Life
On Survivor, contestants are reminded that fire is life. Lose your fire and your game is over. In our spiritual lives, the metaphor holds true. The light of Christ, the warmth of the Holy Ghost, and the fire of testimony keep us moving forward. It is what gives our daily routines purpose and what fuels our efforts when things feel hard or dry.
The problem is, sometimes we run out of firewood. We get tired. Busy. Distracted. Our spiritual spark dims and we start feeling more like castaways than covenant-keepers. That is when we need to do what survivors always do in the game. Return to camp. For us, camp is the sacrament, the scriptures, our families, our ministering efforts, and our ward. It is where we re-center, re-light, and re-commit.
One of the great blessings of the gospel is that we never have to keep the fire burning alone. When your flame feels weak, someone else’s testimony can help reignite yours. When your strength is low, someone in your ward family is ready to carry a bit of your load. God doesn’t ask us to go solo. He asks us to walk the covenant path together. That is why we gather.
So this week, tend your fire. If it feels low, ask for help. If it’s burning strong, use it to warm someone else. In this spiritual wilderness, fire truly is life. And when we keep it lit, there’s no challenge, trial, or tribal council that can take us out.
🪙 Easter Egg: First person to tell Bro. Slade “The tribe has spoken” gets a mystery treat. (Probably a dum-dum, let’s be honest.)
