Vote for Pedro

 The flippin’ best one yet.

Pedro offers you his protection. But Jesus offers eternal salvation.

Come, Follow Me – April 21–27

📖 Doctrine and Covenants 37–40: “If Ye Are Not One Ye Are Not Mine”

We learn that unity is more than just being in the same room—it’s being on the same covenant path. Let’s bring that unity into our homes, classes, quorums, and ministering efforts. As Napoleon would say:

“You know, like, if we all worked together… we could probably like… be Zion or something.”

🎯Youth Activities – Wednesday, April 23 @7PM

“I baked you a cake. I hope you like cinnamon.” — Deb(…okay not really, but someone probably will)

Young Women 16–18 (Laurels):

🎂 Bake-Off at Kristina Johnson’s house

Bring your best. May the flakiest crust win. Spirit of competition optional but encouraged.

“I baked you a cake. I hope you like cinnamon.” — Deb(…okay not really, but someone probably will)

Young Women 12–15:

🔫 Laser tag + service + social night at the Highpointe Amenity Center

🧠 General Conference Kahoot & Trivia at Bishop Christensen’s house – snacks, laughs, and probably some bragging rights.

🐎 Horseback riding at Ranch Park Outdoor Arena

Valiant Boys (ages 8–11):

💎 Crystal Quest: A Real-Life Treasure Hunt

Crack open geodes, uncover hidden gems, and learn how Heavenly Father filled the earth with wonders.

📍 Don & Cindy Clark’s Home | (address in the emailed newsletter)

🕟 Wednesday, April 23rd | 4:30–5:30 PM | (gate code available from youth leaders)

“This isn’t just science—it’s faith, fun, and a little Indiana Jones, all rolled into one.”

🪨✨ Come ready to dig, discover, and maybe even take home a treasure of your own.

 Easter Sacrament Meeting – Sunday, April 20 @ 9AM

🎶 One-hour special Easter program starting at 9:00 AM sharp

Speakers, music, and messages of hope and resurrection.

“I caught you a delicious spiritual bass… and it’s called the Atonement.”

Bring your heart and bring your family and friends. It’s going to be a powerful hour.

🤝 Ministering Reminder

“I see you’re drinking 1% when you could be ministering full-time.”

Don’t wait for someone to tell you what to do—just go do something kind this week. A message, a drop-off, a prayer, a visit. Let’s be one.

Missionary Work – Feed or Go With the Sisters

Our missionaries are working hard—let’s keep helping them. Invite them over, bring them on visits, or just drop off some tots.

“Your spiritual conversion is pretty much the best that’s ever been.”

—Elder Dynamite

  • Sign up to feed them 🍽️

  • Go out teaching with them 🙌

  • Invite someone to meet them 🫶

They need your light and love to reach farther!

🍽 Feed the Missionaries

🚗 Join Them for a Lesson

TL;DR (Too Lazy; Didn’t Read)

  • Youth Night: Laser tag, horses, trivia. Show up.

  • Easter Sunday: 1-hour sacrament, 9AM.

  • Ministering: Don’t be Kip.

  • April 26: RS Conference – “We Are His Hands”

  • Missionaries: Feed them, teach with them, be awesome.

  • Upcoming: Moroni’s Quest, Temple Trip, Summer Camps

 In Conclusion… GOSH!

This week, whether you’re baking, riding horses, or dominating in Conference Kahoot, remember:

“Just follow your heart. That’s what I do.” — Napoleon Dynamite

Let’s strive to be one in purpose, one in faith, and one in Christ—because “if ye are not one, ye are not mine.” There’s power in unity, purpose in every calling, and joy in the gospel (even if you don’t have sweet dance moves yet).

So get out there. Do your ministering. Show up. Serve someone. Bake something. Feed the missionaries. Read your scriptures. And if all else fails…

Stay home and eat all the freakin’ chips”—or come to church and feed your spirit instead.

See you Sunday at 9AM. One-hour Easter meeting. Don’t be late. Don’t forget your tots.

Love,

Your Bishopric
